About Me

Hi, I'm PuiShan, the artist behind this website.  I've loved drawing since I was a child, deeply influenced by Japanese manga and animation. In my early years, I created many manga-style illustrations, and most of my drawing skills were self-taught. Later, I received formal training in painting while earning a Bachelor's degree in Art and Design in New Zealand.

I enjoy working with various mediums, including acrylic paint, colored pencils, watercolor, ink, pastels, wood-burning art, clay sculptures, wire jewelry, macramé jewelry, and more. Recently, I have been focusing mainly on watercolor and acrylic painting. Creating with my hands brings me great joy.

For over 20 years, I worked in the graphic design industry. Six years ago, I shifted my focus to painting. My journey into Zen meditation and spiritual exploration has deeply influenced my artistic expression. Through my art, I aim to convey positive energy and vibrations, hoping to connect with those who resonate with my work or may benefit from its energy.
